The intention of this blog is to have an open and broad discussion about topics related to transport phenomena, everything that is related to: momentum transfer, heat transfer and mass transfer. I believe that the best way to start this open discussion is by reviewing and commenting my collection of the solutions to all problems in the “Transport Phenomena” book published by Bird, Stewart and Lightfoot. In particular the first edition, since my collection was started by mid 1990’s.
The resulting figures could be used to determine the visocity of any gas. Just critical temperature is needed. This is a dream for engineers, determine physical properties with the minimum amount of information.
